In God I trust. All others must bring data.

Christian Nwankwo Chijioke

Passionate about turning data into decisions that matter.

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Abuja, where I graduated as the best student in my department. As a researcher and data scientist, I am deeply committed to solving complex, real-world problems using data and artificial intelligence. Over the past few years, I have worked on several projects, including developing a novel honey encryption scheme, analysing data across multiple sectors, and applying Large Language Models to predictive analytics tasks.

I also work as a part-time research and teaching assistant at Namla Educational Limited, where I teach programming, math, statistics, and conduct academic research.

I am adaptable, collaborative, agile, and analytical. I am the type of person who will step into the impossible without a compass, trusting their ability to navigate the path as it unfolds. What motivates me most is building technology that creates real impact.

AI in Lagos State Transportation

AI in Lagos State Transportation System: Barriers, Current State and Future Potentials - published

Lagos State is the most populous state in Nigeria and Africa as a continent. Due to its large population, commuters struggle with traffic congestion, long waiting and commuting hours, and a high rate of accidents. This paper explores how AI can be used to effectively manage the state's transport systems.

Machine Learning Framework

Machine Learning Framework for Characterizing Marine Microbial Enzymes with Microplastic Biodegration Potential - in peer review

The goal of this study was to develop and evaluate a machine learning framework that can characterise the function of marine microbial enzymes with microplastic biodegradation potential - based on optimal temperature, pH, and Enzyme Commission number classification.

A Distinguisher-Resistant Honey Encryption Scheme

A Distinguisher-Resistant Honey Encryption Scheme Using BERT Model for Information Security - manuscript in preparation

Modern encryption schemes rely on the intractability of certain mathematical problems. However, with the rapid growth in computational power, problems that are difficult today may become solvable in the future. To address this risk, we propose a honey encryption scheme.

Selected Projects

A Code-to-Speech Developer Assistant

A Code-to-Speech Developer Assistant

This Code-to-Speech is an accessibility-focused tool that aims to support visually impaired developers by reading source code aloud in a clear manner. By turning code into speech, this tool promotes inclusivity in software development.

Student Stress Level Predictor

Student Stress Level Predictor

In this project, survey data was analysed to identify the key factors contributing to academic stress in students. A correlation heatmap was then generated to visualise the relationships between these factors, and a linear regression model was trained to predict a student's academic stress score.

Financial Risk Management

This Streamlit-based financial risk assessment app integrates multiple predictive models using an ensemble approach. It serves as an interactive proof of concept demonstrating how combined machine learning models can support real-world decision-making.
